We loved the clean and well-equipped accommodation with comfortable beds. the addition of fans was much appreciated. the double glazing effectively blocked out road noise. the courtyard was a lovely haven for the kids with a small swing set and a fish pond. the location was perfect for our medical appointment. A beautiful walk along the river and a visit to the pottery café in the square were highlights. We have already recommended Smith Cottages to our friends.
Felt right at home, nothing was too much trouble.

Plus, the location was ideal, with plenty of dog-friendly walks and nearby attractions to explore. we would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful getaway.
The road noise, which could be bothersome especially if you're a light sleeper. However, it's worth noting that the owners mentioned plans for new double glazing, which might help reduce the noise.
